The 5k contest is closed after more than 1000 entries have been submitted. Here's my entry by the way, which I managed to compact into just 3749 bytes. I could've even submitted it to the 4k contest! Oh, and it inspired 61...

Following Nielsen's rule 'do what every other site does', or in this case 'most other weblogs', I added little permanent-URL icons to the left of each entry-date, for easy bookmarking and linking (not that I'm getting linked much). That icon to the right is purely to show of my personal instant-edit script.

This is the first time I've gotten a hit via an AltaVista Image Search, in German even. For some reason this old homepage of mine is the second returned result.
