Listening to: Spacer: The Beamer [via SomaFM Secret Agent channel]

Update: I'm going to use this entry to keep track of other cool Secret Agent songs that stand out:
  • East Wind - Jade Warrior
  • Peter Reno - Armed Escort
  • Nucleo Antirapina
  • dZihan & Kamien - just you & I
  • Flanger - Quicksilver Loom
  • God Within featuring Scott Hardkiss - The Phoenix (R.I.T.M.'s River & Rain Mix)
  • Mysterious Traveller - Day After
Might as well also use this entry to keep track of favorite songs heard on Monkey Radio:
  • Fila Brazillia - Blood

That's really funny, I always listen to the Secret Agent Channel and this is a song I have frequently heared on that channel. And although there are a lot of songs they tend to play over and over again, it still is a very cool channel to listen to.

I recently changed the url structure of my monthly archive pages to look like /year/month/. Of course, with a syntax like that, I had to think up something to show on the /year/ urls, so here's what I came up with: 2004, 2003, 2002, ...
By the way, I've been nominated for the Dutch Bloggies 2004 (our national weblog awards, sort of). Which surprised me since I haven't been doing all that much 'blogging' lately. Coincidentally I'm the only one in my category that doesn't write in Dutch. :)

A translation:
The critics could not believe that such a complex mechanism could evolve through a natural process. Darwin thought it could; “If the transitions from simple to complex eyes could prove that every step is useful then the difficulty in believing in natural selection is not contrary to my theory.”

4. posted by milov at 11:02 on March 17, 2004

Nice, although I'd translate that last bit as:
"If the existence of transitions from simple to complex eyes could be proven, and those transitions are useful, then the difficulty in believing in natural selection is not contrary to my theory."
