I'm a 33-year-old freelance webdeveloper and photographer living near The Hague, The Netherlands.
This is my personal weblog, where I often post selections of my favourite photos.
Sometimes I make art with code.

The same as Clio long time ago!!! How can i get in touch with Claus Winter?? thank in advance)
I was just doing some Rotterdam photoexploring when I spotted this guy confidently and repeatedly walking back and forth by himself on the narrow sidewalk railing along the water.
Babelfish Chinese-simp to English vertaalde zijn/haar bericht als "Cannot understand English, did not know should write any".
Part of a big arch stretching over the road, somewhere in Berlin Mitte. Looked awesome in the early morning light; the GR Digital is so great for these kinds of shots.
Ha, je bent twee dagen vóór mij jarig ;)
Ook veeel te laat dus (ik had de connectie nog niet gemaakt tussen die '28' en je verjaardag), maar jij ook alsnog gefeliciteerd!
For the non-Flickr-contacts that visit here: there's tons more Berlin photos to see in this Flickr set of mine, and plenty more on the way, probably.
Almost three weeks on, and browsing through the many photos of my short trip still makes me discover more cool stuff to post. If only the photos sucked, maybe then I would learn not to shoot so many; but no, somehow I like almost every one of the 1000+ photos I made. I'll be in real trouble the next time I go on a longer trip.
My ancestors departed from Rotterdam on their way to America. This was specifically John Appelman, son of Gustaphus Appelman from Wolgost. I'd love to connect with any of these "cousins"
Pausing for a brief second to get this shot while crossing the street almost got me run over by a car. And I didn't even notice the girl at the time; I shot this sideways without really looking, simply hoping to get a nice shot of the street :)
Looking at my Flickr most-viewed photos stats just now, I was surprised at how many views this photo had gotten - 542 views with barely any comments or faveings! As it turns out that might have something to do with the fact that it's actually the 4th(!) result in Google for the phrase no smoking allowed - while a copy of the same photo on my own site is the 5th result.
Which makes me wonder how many other people end up on my Flickr photostream via Google, or via any other site for that matter, without me realizing it... I guess it's too much to ask Flickr to offer personalized referrer listings for stats-addicts like me. :)
Update:
This problem is solved, for Pro-users anyway, with the recent introduction of Flickr Stats!
Soooo cooool! My Favicon shows up beside the link to my url! Love it. Sorry for posting this comment here, but I just HAD to congratulate you! I LOVE your creativity!
