NAI in green

Like seemingly every other Rotterdam Flickr user does at one point, I finally got some pictures of these cool lights at the NAI!!

Also, I'm experimenting with a new photo interface, serving 1024px-wide jpegs of my photos live from flickr.com via milov.nl/flickr/275545243-style urls. Still trying to figure out how to best go about structuring things so I don't have to upload and tag photos twice (once on flickr and once here).

Tag them on flickr with "as seen on milov.nl" and poll your flickr feed regularly to see which flickr photos to copy over.

Or, the other way round: tag them here with "as seen on flickr".

Love those lights, by the way!

That's a great idea, actually!

Yeah, that's how do it on my own blog.

Simply set IPTC tags in the jpeg file itself. Flickr picks all of them up (e.g. headline, caption and tags). You should be able to do likewise in your own scripts. Tag once in Photoshop, Irfanview or whatever and replicate identically. I've do scripted tag reading in PHP using exifer by Jake Olefsky, but most of the time I don't bother to set the tags properly any more.

Dat "plox" moet je over een maand dan maar eens uitleggen :)
