Funny though that the forcast for 200-300 years done by the Star Trek creators is becoming reality now...

In the original ST, everyone had comms devices that allowed them to contact each other, wireless, over great distances...

In ST TNG, the Enterprise had a highly sophisticated computer system... it's computer power is about to be matched by today's computers... Need I go on? :)
